By using CollectIQ you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
CollectIQ provides research, analytics, and estimated valuations for collectibles. All outputs — including scores, estimated fair values, and valuation labels — are informational only and are not investment, financial, or tax advice. Collectibles are speculative and illiquid. You are solely responsible for your buying and selling decisions.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person or entity per account. Team members must each use their own login.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — card photos, imports, portfolio data, binders, posts, and comments. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service, including displaying anything you deliberately make public. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in routine backups.
Community content and moderation
- You are responsible for what you post. No harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, doxxing, counterfeit sales, or infringing material.
- We may remove content, limit visibility, or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
- Community posts are user opinions, not CollectIQ statements, and are not vetted by us.
- Report problems to support@collectiq.tools.
Public binders and shared links
Publishing a binder or creating a share link makes that content accessible to anyone with the URL. Do not publish anything you consider confidential. You can revoke a link at any time; cached or copied content already retrieved is outside our control.
Card shows, hosts, dealers, and user-to-user dealings
- Show listings, table maps, booth details, and want-board posts are supplied by users and hosts. We do not verify them.
- Hosts and dealers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for their own legal and tax obligations.
- Any trade, sale, or meet-up arranged through CollectIQ is strictly between the users involved. CollectIQ is not a party, escrow agent, or guarantor, and takes no commission and no responsibility for the outcome.
- Meet in public, verify goods yourself, and use your own judgement.
Acceptable use
- No scraping, reselling, or redistributing our data or scores.
- No attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
- No unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
Plans and billing
Paid subscriptions are not currently available; all listed plan pricing is indicative until billing goes live. When paid plans launch, they will be billed monthly in advance via Stripe, cancellable at any time with effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid will be non-refundable except where required by law. Nothing on the site is a binding offer of a paid plan until billing is active.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Market data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Past performance does not predict future returns.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CollectIQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from settings.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
